Divers on Tour May 2004

Venue: Western Super mare

Shootout Club.

11 members of the team went on tour.

Paul R, Paul H, Tim , Russ , Ian Taylor, Ian Turner, Cressie, Mal, Mick, Derek and Martin.

Enjoyable weekend of skittles and drinking.

The first match was against a ladies team. The Divers won the match. (Friday) The next match (Saturday afternoon) was against another team of ladies, who out played the Divers. The third and last match (Saturday Night), in the heats against a welsh men's team which we lost. Mine you most of the team was very aggressive and certain didn't play in a friendly manner.

Losing 2 out of 3 games meant we didn't participate as players in the next stages. We did participate in the old tradition of drinking.

However, it was a very sunny and hot weekend, plus taking a quick trip to a local pub or 2, in-fact  to watch Gloucester rugby team on sky.

1st match, a bit of controversy when the other team thought they won by 2 pins but in fact lost by lots. Russ wasn't in their good books.
